Are we there yet?

Until yesterday morning, I truly had no idea WHAT I was going to post for X.

Then I had an eureka moment:

Night to Day, 1978

The eX and I used to play a hand drawn version of the game Battleship.

I had a bunch of the paper gameboards laying around (as one does) and added cut up strips to the above collages (which ended up framed together).

AND, in Panel 4, there are visible Xs!

If I remember correctly, the X marks a "hit" to a ship.

I can now "cross" X off the to do list.

This month, I will be blogging my way through the alphabet,
as part of the Blogging from A to Z Challenge.
With each letter, I am going to feature something about my art work.
