Chalk Pastels!

A favorite medium.

I look at a photo reference when I create these (refer to the "Let's Begin with AZ" post) and many viewers think that the pieces are photographs at first glance. It's not my intention to be photorealistic, and I think they're more dreamy and impressionistic.

It's been a while since I've done any of these.

Space constraints, health issues, abundance of inventory - all factors that are hindering new work.

I'm taking a few up to Seattle in August for the Superfine Art Fair. Hopefully, they'll find new homes.

This month, I will be blogging my way through the alphabet,

With each letter, I am going to feature something about my art work.
