The coastal homes of Louisiana are raised on stilts to help protect them from storm surges.
On the Edge: US -- I drove solo, counterclockwise, on US Highways and Interstates as close to the edge of the country as possible and captured images out the passenger side window. Later, I processed the photograph through the Waterlogue app to turn it into a digital watercolor.
I chose to print on aluminum to avoid having to display the work behind glass. The small scale evokes a postcard, a classic road trip souvenir.
